I graduated from Oregon State in Accounting in 1983. Then I worked in accounting and finance for several companies. Now I have my own business doing client tax and accounting work.
Dennis graduated from Oregon State in Civil Engineering. He started his own engineering company in 2002, HDL. He plans to retire at the end of this year.
We raised two children, Dawn and Daniel. Dawn is a 5th grade teacher in Caldwell, Idaho. Married to Kyle Dondero who is a diesel mechanic. Daniel graduated in Kinesiology and is currently working on his rock climbing skills. He plans to go back to grad school in the fall.
We took a couple years away from work in 2009-2011. Dennis and I traveled to Peru and worked locally building missionary housing and training centers. We do volunteer work with our church, mission organizations, Freedom House (transitional housing for women) and Royal Family Kids Camp (a summer camp for foster kids).
We moved to Kenai four years ago to be closer to our parents. My new favorite summer activity is dip netting for salmon!!! It is actually fun to catch salmon while standing in COLD water.
